Digitizing the Bras d’Or Collection

Today Amanda McNeil showed us how to scan and digitize documents from the CBU library’s “Bras D’Or Collection”.

The idea is that my fellow interns and I will scan old documents from the CBU library documenting several historical happenings in Cape Breton over the years (the tar ponds for example) and digitize them making them readily available to be viewed online rather than having to come in to the library and see the documents in person.

You can find basically anything and everything online so it’s only fitting that you should be able to access such documentation such as the Bras d’Or Collection online as well.

“You can find basically anything and everything online” what keen insight, did you get that from the beginner’s manual for Netscape Navigator?
